Sri Narayani Proclamation Day - 15th Anniversary

The 15th Proclamation Day of Goddess Narayani was celebrated on Tuesday May 8th, 2007. The days events started early in the morning with the chanting of the priests as Amma was welcomed into the Shanthi Mandapam. Amma performed Ganapathi puja and sat down for the Pada Puja. The Pada Puja was performed by Mr. Rajkumar from Chennai.

As part of the celebrations, a special homam was conducted by the temple priests at the Peedam.
After the pada puja, Amma performed Thulasi Puja and Puthu Koil and performed a Yagam inside the Swayambhu Temple before starting out to meet the thousands of devotees waiting at the Sri Narayani Vidyalaya School to greet Amma.
On arrival at the school Amma placed the Kalasam on Jothiamma’s head and led the procession back to the Temple. Each devotee followed carrying coconuts chanting “Om Namo Narayani”.
After which Smt. Jothi Amma did the next abhisekam followed by each devotee who took turns to offer their coconuts and receive Amma’s blessings.
After this, Amma went to the Anna Dhanam seva hall, where Amma tasted the food and asked that the food be served to everyone.
