On September 10th, 2008, the Sri Sakthi Amma Ayurveda Vaidhya Salai was inaugurated by Sri Sakthi Amma also called Sri Narayani Amma and the Central Railway Minister, Sri Velu.
The Sri Sakthi Amma Ayurveda Vaidhya Salai is a health care facility specializing in Ayurveda, traditional and alternative herbal remedies and treatments. Presently the centre caters for outpatient care but there are plans to open the inpatient care in the near future
