The day started with the usual pujas by Sri Sakthi Amma. This was followed by the procession (Oorvalam) which was led by Smt. Jothiamma from the Sri Narayani Vidyalaya School to the Sri Narayani Peedam. The crowds gathered at the Yagashala at the Sri Narayani Peedam waiting for Amma's arrival. Finally Amma appeared and walked gracefully up on to the stage. The first part of the program was the Pada Puja which was performed by a couple. This was followed by Malar Abhishekam and a discourse by Beloved Amma.
