Bakthi (faith) is to accept whatever we receive as something good for us because God is not some random force. God is the power which spreads over all the worlds. People worship God in different ways and call God by different names such as Ambal, Appa, Allah, Jesus and so on. In whatever form we way worship God the power of God is the same. It is the same one God. That power is wholesome, full of wisdom, full of strength which holds everything within it.

There is nothing wrong in asking for what we need from God. But God knows what is good for us. So it is not always we receive what we ask for. For instance, let's say a mother has four children. Out of love she makes four different dishes according to what each one of her children likes.

She doesn't make dishes which she likes but prepare the variety which she thinks are good for her children. If a mother of four children could care so much for her children, just think how much more our Mother God cares for us; so one must have patience and unconditional faith.

On this auspicious day Amma blesses everyone to be happy and comfortable.
