Bhakthi (Devotion) and Shakthi (Strength)

Bhakthi- What does it mean? It means the devotion and love we have for God with the firm belief in the power of the Divine. What will you get if you have Bhakthi? Bhakthi by itself is a source of great strength to deal with all problems in life. For example everyone in the world face problems in life which includes people with Bhakthi and people without Bhakthi.

So what is special about people with Bhakthi? They immediately think of God and pray for a solution. This prayer gives them enormous strength (Shakthi), solace and courage. Generally when someone is experiencing joy and happiness there will be a lot of people around to share it. However when someone is having problems, troubles and grief no one wants to share it. Only God is willing to listen to your problems and give you the solution. No one else will be able to do this for you.

Now take the case of people without belief in God (without Bhakthi). They will take also steps, thinking they can solve their problems by themselves. But there is no one to give them the strength, solace and courage. As a result their worries increase while attempting to find a solution without the support of God.

Therefore Bhakthi by itself is developed only with the grace of God. Bhakthi gets you everything you deserve, at the appropriate time. There is no need to ask. Just have faith and devotion and seek only Amma's Grace and Blessings. When people say they have Bhakthi, it means they have the grace and blessings of Amma.

There are millions of people in the world. People with high, powerful positions and lots of money, yet they have no peace. How many have the opportunity to realize that Bhakthi will bring them unlimited peace, courage, happiness and joy; only the ones who have the Grace of Amma.

Having Bhakthi is as good as having Amma always with you as a well-wisher knowing what you want and granting it to you at the right time. What more do you want other than this great Shakthi.
