With the Infinite Grace of the Almighty Divine Mother, Sri Narayani and the Blessings of our Beloved Sri Narayani (Shakti) Amma, a new all granite temple has been established at Sripuram in Vellore, to bring Peace, Happiness and Prosperity to humanity all over the World.
Crafted in traditional style, this sanctum will house the adorable World Record Sri Shakti Ganapathy. His murthi (statue form) is cast in pure silver and weights a hefty 1,700 kilograms.
In conjunction with the Maha Kumbha Abhishekam (Grand Consecration) of the temple, special yagams and poojas will be conducted through 21 separate sessions, over a period lasting eleven days. Starting Friday, 15th January till Saturday 25th January 2021.
Sri Ganapathy’s much relished sweet, the ladoo (using his nine favourite grains and seeds – these being rice, wheat, maize plus sesame, along with the following cereals: little millet, kodo millet, pearl millet, finger millet and foxtail millet) will be specially made for the event. 108,000 of these ladoos will be offered in the yargams, to the chanting of the Sri Shakti Ganapathy Moola Mantra.
The Grand Maha Kumba Abhishekam event will take place on Monday, January 25th, 2021 (which corresponds to the day ruled by Miruga-Seeridam asterism in the Tamil month of Thai, in the current Sarvari year) between the auspicious hours of 9.00 and 10.30 AM. Blessed personages specially invited for this exceptional auspicious celebration will further sanctify the occasion with their most holy presence.
