The Onam Festival was celebrated in grand style in Sripuram, Sri Narayani Peedam and Sri Narayani Ayurvedic Hospital. Each day a beautiful Pookalam (intricate arrangement of colorful flowers on the floor) was created by the Sevarthes as part of the celebration. This celebration marks the Harvest Season and can last from four to ten days.

Onam is celebrated in the beginning of the month of Chingam. The first month of the Malayalam calendar (Kollavarsham).
