Onam Festival of Kerala
On September 8th 2008, with the divine blessings of our Beloved Amma, the Onam festival of Kerala was celebrated at the Darshan Hall in the Sripuram.The function was organized by the students of Sri Narayani College of Nursing and this year as well as last year many students from Kerala joined in the celebrations.
The Onam festival is the biggest and the most important festival of Kerala. It is a harvest festival and is celebrated in the beginning of the first month of the Malayalam Calendar. This month corresponds to August-September in the western calendar.
