The festival of Pongal was celebrated at the Sri Narayani Peedam on Monday, January 14th, 2013. The celebrations started very early in morning with the ladies cooking pots of Sarkarai Pongal. Sri Sakthi Amma performed the Surya Puja and blessed the food.
