Many people cannot afford the marriage expenses and in some cases many young people remain single. Amma says that the stream of life must continue to flow. With this in mind, Amma conducts mass marriages, taking care of all arrangements, financial and otherwise, in order that the young couple can be married without financial burden.

Amma also provides each couple a set of the basic essentials, pots, pans, mats, pillows, umbrella and some cash in order for them to take the next step in setting up a home for themselves.
