For 21 long years a chariot named Sakthi Ratham has been travelling all over India spreading Hinduism and spirituality. Last year June 2004 it arrived at Sri Narayani Peedam. It was in very bad shape with a broken thatched roof and worn out wheels.
Amma, the embodiment of compassion decided to have it renovated. The Goddess Mariamman, another form of Devi who was installed and travels in the chariot was removed and kept in the Sri Narayani Seva Hall when the chariot was sent to be renovated.
The chariot has finally been fully renovated with a mini temple for Goddess Mariamman and on June 1st, of this year the Kumbabhishekam took place at the Peedam premises. The Goddess was placed inside the mini temple on wheels and AMMA performed the consecration for it. The next day, the Sakthi Ratham set out in all its glory in it’s continuing journey spreading Spirituality and Divinity to one and all.
