On 27 th December Temple priests performed Sani Peyarchi Homam with the divine blessings from our beloved Sri Narayani (Shakti) Amma. This Homam is done to bring about favorable results. Peyarchi is the movement from one Rasi (timeline) to another. When the shift takes place it sometimes brings mixed fortunes. The Homam helps alleviate this and to bring good fortune.

Sani or Saturn takes about 30 years to revolve around the Earth. This means that Sani will stay in one Rasi for 2 and half years before he moves to the next Rasi.
