SNH&RC - Medical Camps
During the month of January, 2009 the Community Health Department of the Sri Narayani Hospital & Research Centre conducted a Mega Camp in a joint effort with the K. G. Hospital as part of their ongoing Outreach Program.
Mega Camp
The Mega Camp was conducted on January 24th, 2009 at the Sankar Residency in Vellore. The Vellore District Collector Mr. Rajendiran, IAS was on hand to inaugurate the camp. The team of doctors conducting the camp included Dr. Subapriya, Dr. Anitha, Dr. Niranjan, Dr. Vishwapriya, Dr. Raghul and Dr. Jasmin. They specialized in the field of General Medicine, Ortho, Diabetology, Cardiology and Nephrology. The doctors examined and gave free medicines to over 250 patients at this camp.

Ante Natal Care Camp
Ante Natal Care camps were conducted on November 5th and 11th, 2009 from Pulimedu to Vasanthanadai and Ariyurkuppam to Puthur. The Auxiliary Nurses examined over 40 pregnant women for common problems that occur during pregnancy to ensure there are no complications. Medicines were provided free of charge for all those who needed it.
School Health & Dental Camps
School Health Camps were conducted on December 4th, 10th, and 18th 2008 in the Elementary Schools of Moolgate, Narasingapuram & Nambirajapuram. Dr. Anitha gave over 205 students a general health & dental check up. Those that needed treatment were given free medicines. Those that needed hospital care were referred to the hospital.
Neurological Camp
A neurological camp was conducted on November 22nd 2008 at the Sri Narayani Hospital & Research Centre. Dr. G. Prem Kumar examined over 25 people for common neurological problems like chronic headaches, giddiness, etc. Treatment and medicines were given free of charge.
