Sri Mahalakshmi Gayatri Homam

The Sri Mahalakshmi Gayatri Homam started on Tuesday August 3rd, 2010 in the Yagashala at the Sri Narayani Peedam. This special Gayatri Homam is considered to be the purest homam of all where the whole family participates. This homam is done with the chanting of the Gayatri mantra.

When the Gayatri mantra is chanted we will not only get the blessings of Goddess Gayatri but also the blessings of Lord Surya. Goddess Gayatri is an incarnation of Goddess Saraswathi and is considered the Mother of the Vedas.
