Sri Narayani Hospital & Research Centre
Camp Details - May 2006
In our dedication to serve mankind and with the blessings of our Divine Mother Sri Sakthi Amma, various camps are conducted by the Community Health Department of Sri Narayani Hospital & Research Centre on an ongoing basis to provide medical assistance to those in need. The following camps held during the month of May 2006 were very successful and well received by everyone who attended.
Paediatric Camp
On May 4th, 2006 a Paediatric Camp was conducted at the Sri Narayani Hospital & Research Centre in the presence of our General Superintendent Dr. Surendra Babu, Dr. Srinivasa Prasath and Mrs. Dulcie Daniel. A ceremonial prayer was performed and the lamp was lit by Dr. Srinivasa Prasath. Mr. Murugasan (C.Co) gave the welcoming speech.
A total of 100 patients registered for a physical examination, check ups and Spirometry tests by Dr. Srinivasa Prasath and Dr. Chandra Sekar.
Hepatitis ‘B’ Vaccination Camp
On Saturday May 6th, 2006 a Hepatitis ’B’ Vaccination camp was conducted at Annaicut block (New Area) under the guidance of the Community Health Department of the Sri Narayani Hospital & Research Centre.
The Community Health workers administered doses of the Hepatitis “B” vaccinations to 43 patients.
Antenatal Clinic
On May 16th, 2006 an Antenatal Clinic was conducted at Anaicut block (Budur to Kudisai) under the guidance of the Community Health Department of the Sri Narayani Hospital & Research Centre.
A total of 14 patients registered for a physical examination and checkups done by Dr. Anitha.
Under Five Clinic
On May 12th, 2006 an Under Five Clinic was conducted at Kudisai and Tharvazhi under the guidance of the Community Health Department of the Sri Narayani Hospital & Research Centre.
A total of 32 patients registered for a physical examination and check-ups done by Dr. Srinivasa Prasad.
Gynaecology Camp
On May 17th, 2006 a Gynaecology camp was conducted at the Sri Narayani Hospital & Research Centre in the presence of our General Superintendent Dr. Surendra Babu, Dr. Malathy and Dr. Madhavi. A ceremonial prayer was conducted before the start of the camp.
A total of 43 patients registered for a physical examination and check-ups done by Dr. Malathy and Dr. Franco Benedict.
Diabetes Camp
On May 20th, 2006 a Diabetes camp was conducted at Sri Panchali Amman Kalyana Mandapam, in Arni under the guidance of the Sri Narayani Hospital & Research Centre. A ceremonial prayer was conducted in the presence of our Director Mr. N. Balaji, Chief Guests Mr. Mohan, Mr. Shanmugam, Mr. Venkatesan, Mr. Duraiswamy, Mr. Raj Kumar, General Superintendent and Dr. Surendra Babu. The lamp was lit by the one the Chief Guests and our Director Mr. N. Balaji.
A total of 344 patients registered for a physical examination, lab tests, Doppler, Biothesiometer and screening check-ups done by Dr. Aravind and Dr. Anitha. Diet counselling was given by Ms. Jayanthi, the Dietician. M.C.R Slipers were kept on display.
Under Five Clinic
On May 24th, 2006 an Under Five Clinic was conducted in the Anaicut Block (Elavampadi) under the guidance of the Community Health Department headed by Dr. Srinivasa Prasad of the Sri Narayani Hospital & Research Centre.
A total of 39 patients registered for a physical examination and check-ups which was performed by Dr. Srinivasa Prasad.
General Medicine Camp
On May 21st, 2006 a General Medicine Camp was conducted in Vallalar under the guidance of the Sri Narayani Hospital Research Centre. A ceremonial prayer was performed and the lamp was lit in the presence of our Director Mr. N. Balaji, General Superintendent, Dr. Surendra Babu, Dr. Karthikeyan, Dr. Anitha and Mrs. Clara Kumar.
A total of 105 patients registered for a physical examination and check-ups done by Dr. Karthikeyan and Dr. Anitha.
Antenatal Clinic
On May 30th, 2006 an Antenatal Clinic was conducted in the Anaicut block (Elavampadi to Eripudur) under the guidance of the Community Health Department of the Sri Narayani Hospital & Research Centre.
A total of 23 patients registered for the physical examination and check-ups done by Dr. Madhavi.
