Sri Narayani Temple Consecration 8th Anniversary

The 8th anniversary of the consecration of the Sri Narayani Temple was celebrated on Saturday January 31st, 2009. During the morning of the celebrations the temple priests made 10 kalasams, each of which signified a deity after which they conducted a Sahasranama Yagam (1,000 names of the Devi).

Later in the afternoon, Sri Sakthi Amma was welcomed into the Sri Narayani Temple with Nadaswaram, Kalasams and Vedic Chants.

Beloved Amma then performed Abhishekam on Goddess Narayani all the auspicious items.

After the Abhishekam Goddess Narayani was adorned with a new silk sari, glittering jewels and fragrant flower garlands and was ready to bless all Her devotees in Her majestic form.
