Sri Srinivasa Puremal – Ekadasi

1008 Ghee Lamps were lit in front of Sri Srinivasa on 8th December evening to celebrate the auspicious Ekadasi Day. Ekadasi is the eleventh lunar day of each of the two lunar phases which occurs in a Hindu calendar month. They are called Sukia Paksa and Krishna Paksa.

Sukia Paksa is when the moon is waxing (getting brighter) and Krishna Paksa is when the moon is fading.
