Teachers Day
This is a day to honour teachers and their contribution to the education and development of children to be future leaders. In 1967 Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan (2 nd President of India) birthday was celebrated as Teachers’ Day in India. Some 27 years later UNESCO established “World Teacher’s Day” also on 5th October 1994.
